I found Ship-a-car Direct through the dealer I was purchasing the vehicle from. The price quoted by them was lower than other quotes I researched on my own. I was very happy with my contact, Emily, at Ship-a-car Direct. She kept me informed during the whole process. She responded to my emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.

The actual transporter, Next Step Auto Inc., handled the entire move very professionally. The driver phoned me with updates on the delivery status. My car arrived at about 9:30 PM on the day promised instead of the original time of 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The driver did call and tell me that he would be arriving at the later time due to traffic issues. I had no problem with this as the driver can not control highway traffic issues.

The car arrived with no shipping damage and was clean. The papers sent with the car by the seller were also intact. I would recommend the transporter and Ship-a-car Direct. I was very satisfied with the whole transport experience.

Thanks for the great review, Steve! You make an excellent point about timing estimates: drivers can't control highway traffic issues!
