Would use Ship a Car Direct again

I wanted to ship my 2012 honda accord from Tallahassee, FL to Albuquerque, NM. To have some flexibility and get the delivery of car on time, I had placed the order with Ship a Car Direct about a week in advance.

After few days, Kay from Ship a Car Direct was not able to find a carrier for me and told me it is really hard to find carriers for this route. I believed her and I knew she would have tried her best to find something for me. She kept trying and eventually found a carrier. Although I had to pay little extra compared to the original estimate, the entire process after getting the carrier was smooth.

Honestly, I was little frustrated in the beginning, but I was completely satisfied in the end and I actually received the car when I wanted it to be here, which is what matters.

I would definitely consider them for my next move (although I hope I don't have to move at least for next few years :)

Thanks for the great review, Ashish! You bring up a teachable moment - no matter how much notice you give, carrier availability varies - especially when you want a "better" price. We have access to a pool of terrific carriers but there isn't a way to "reserve" a specific truck in advance. Your transport is dependent on carrier availability when your car is ready to go.
