Positives: My overall experience was very positive. My car arrived safely in California and in the same condition that it left New Jersey. Rodney, in the Ship A Car Direct office, was very courteous and always responsive. I shopped around and the price is good for a professional and reliable service.

Kind-of-Positives:
The drivers themselves, CAA, were pretty good, but I do wish they had given me more lead time when my car arrived in California. They are closed on Sundays and called me Monday morning to let me know my car was ready for delivery (I selected the "door-to-door", as opposed to "port-to-port" option).
When I asked them to reschedule the delivery to Tuesday (I was super busy on Monday and did not know the car was arriving until Monday morning), they did so, but they didn't seem thrilled about it.
Which is understandable, but I was flexible on pick-up days, so I would have liked to have seen more flexibility on drop off day

Overall:
I recommend this shipper and will use them again if I need to ship my car. Rodney is great and CAA did deliver my car on the day that was most convenient for me after I requested it. Bottom line, they provided a good service at a reasonable price. Will recommend to friends and colleagues.

Thanks for your feedback Kimberly! You are so right about timing, drive times are not precise so carriers can only provide estimates for arrival. Drivers can't always wait an extra day for delivery or arrive on demand. We recommend planning to be on-lcall and have a friend as back-up in the days around your carrier's arrival estimate.
