I originally went with a quote from Cascade Shipping ($875). In hindsight, it was too low, likely in a bid to attract my business. The result was, 10 days later, no carrier was found. Finally, Cascade called me to ask if I'd be willing to have the carrier drop the car 1hr away from me. I said yes. Then, 10 minutes later, Malia from Cascade called back and said the carrier wanted $1475. I politely said "no" and hung up the phone. My experience with Cascade was nothing more than a waste of time.

Then I called up Ship a Car Direct. Scott's quote was immediately more in line ($1175). This made me feel they were more knowledgeable and understood the market. My confidence proved well placed. After about 4 days, they placed the vehicle, and it was picked up and on its way. Originally, the carrier said they would arrive in 7 days. But they arrived in only 3 days which was a nice bonus.

2. It arrived earlier than expected
3. There were NO surprises of any kind
4. The cost was reasonable
5. It was fast, painless and efficient

Go with Ship a Car Direct. These guys really know what they're doing.
