I would highly recommend working with this company, and with David in particular. This was a great alternative as I had originally planned to rent a small uhaul for my things and drive my car across my country, from New York to California. I was really not looking forward to this though... and it's not particularly cost effective. I spoke with some friends who said that shipping a car with your things packed in it with this company was affordable, practical, time-saving, and had worked out well for them. They recommended I talk to Ship a Car Direct, so I called just to get a quote. From just that call, everything else in the process followed very easily and with little effort needed from me. I was surprised by how low-cost it could be (considering what Uhaul rental, gas, accomodations, food, etc for a cross-country drive would run us). Working with David at Ship-a-Car Direct made it easy and simple, he laid out the details, worked with me on price, and connected me with a carrier. He also followed up to help me work out details and adjust things as needed, accommodating the timing of my move and needs. No complaints, this was a much smoother and more effective process than I thought it could be. Would use again and recommend.
