Happy with my car shipment

I work with Emily at Ship a Car Direct to get my daughter's car moved from California to Colorado. Emily was easy to work with and always responded promptly to my email questions.

My only complaint was that once I had committed to go with them it was a bit of a black hole as to what was going on while they found a carrier. This was my first time shipping a car, so maybe this is standard, but I would have liked to hear from the dispatcher what was going on.

After the car arrived, Emily followed up to make sure that everything had gone well and I appreciated that.

Overall I was very happy with this transport.

We're happy you are happy, Joe! And here's what happens in the "black hole" after you place an order: we make a job offer on your behalf to the best carriers in the country. There aren't pre-set schedules or lots of options to provide to you. Often, there is only a truck or two available each week, and we match you with the best rated in your time-frame. Most carriers cannot confirm until they are within a day or two of your physical location with a road-ready truck - especially in winter. It does seem strange in an instant gratification world to have to wait a day or two (or more) for news, but that is common with transports.
