This is the 3rd time we've had to ship a car in the last 2 years, so I'm not unfamiliar with the process. I used this website to find David at Ship a Car Direct. He was in constant contact with me, updating me on when I would hear back from a driver. I became nervous when I hadn't heard from anyone a week before my departure date, so he put a special vibe out there and I was contacted almost immediately.

The only minor snafu was the driver said he would pick it up Thursday afternoon, which moved to Friday morning then afternoon, then finally getting picked up close to 6 pm on Friday. He was in contact with me, and I was flexible to a certain point. I had to rearrange my plans for my last night in SF, but it was no biggie.

I was super happy with how quick he was to get it delivered. The last time my car was shipped (over Christmas) it took almost 2 weeks. Matt picked it up Friday evening and delivered it Thursday afternoon. Both times, he took suggestions on where to meet, which is nice. He delivered it at the exact time he quoted on Thursday, as well.

Overall, I'd definitely use them again. Price was right, schedule was right, and my car got here safe and sound!

Thanks for the positive review, Amber! You bring up two good issues: advance confirmation and drive times. No matter when you place your order, your carrier is confirmed within a week of pick-up - there aren't advance schedules because the routes are unique and different and vary every week. That means the drive times provided are estimates. It is realistic to allow for flexibility in your schedule.
