Matt from Ship a Car Direct was very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, the ultimate carrier was not forthcoming about their route and ended up 'criss-crossing' the country to pick up other vehicles which delayed the delivery of my car.

Thank you for your feedback, AC! So sorry the carrier didn't follow the route you expected - sometimes inclement weather, maintenance problems or issues with other customers can force a carrier off their schedule. Frankly, it's always in the carriers financial interest to deliver directly and quickly, so they don't make detours lightly.
