Firstly, before deciding on a transporter, I made sure to read a bunch of reviews in preparation for choosing one for my newly purchased 2012 Subaru WRX STI. I am a car guy and I wanted to make sure everything was legit for my new ride.

I recommend that everyone considering a transport company make sure they talk to the company and ask as many questions as possible before they make a final decision. I decided on Ship A Car Direct after speaking with multiple companies. I almost went with another more expensive company, but in the end I decided on Ship A Car Direct because they were cheaper and offered the same quality of service based on all the questions I asked. I asked a lot of questions, but I never felt like my contact, Matt, was impatient with me. He was the reason I decided to go with the company. He was honest and kept his word.

The car was picked up sooner than I thought it would have been and it was delivered within the time period it would take to travel the 2000 miles the car was being shipped. The truck driver called me when he was a day out and showed up when he said he would the next day. The rate I agreed to was $825: $225 to Ship A Car Direct $600 to my truck driver. I tipped my driver after I inspected the car because he did a good job.

Lastly, I was skeptical of all these auto transport companies, but I appreciated the honesty and good communication I got from the Ship A Car Direct representative and from the truck driver. As for the incentive to write this review. I don't really care about it. I am happy to receive $30 for writing a review, but I am writing this because I want those who are searching to read this review and hopefully have a bit of a better understanding about how to choose a company. Remember: the company should be honest, have good communication, not ask for a credit card upfront (ship a car doesn't ask for a card nor charge your card until they assign you a transporter), and be professional.

I am a real person. Yes, I am supposed to get $30 for this review, but considering I just spent $825 for the transport, $30 is not really going have much of an effect. As I said, this is for the people who are unsure about which company to choose.
