The overall process was very frustrating because I could not get a firm pickup date from the company. "It's still early in the transit world..." was the only excuse I could get. Apparently, no one will commit to a date to do anything anymore. When all was said and done, the car was picked up on the day we needed it to be picked up. It was delivered in a timely fashion. The truck driver was courteous and competent. The car arrived undamaged. So that part was good.

But all of this took numerous phone calls and emails to work out. I had to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to coordinate this pickup with the moving van pickup and all of that seemed totally unnecessary. I am the customer paying the money to do the move. Commit to a pick up and delivery date at the time the contract is signed. Don't make me chase you down for a commitment and don't jack me around until the very last minute. That's very poor customer service.

Thank you for your feedback, Ronald. Glad to hear that your transport was safe and timely and that the driver was courteous. It can be surprising to learn that transport haulers are confirmed within a day or two of pick-up, and that is common in the industry. There are no regularly scheduled routes locked down in advance, so to spare yourself frustration it's realistic to prepare for confirmation to come close to your actual pick-up date.
