Positive Expeience with Ship a Car Direct

My husband and I recently moved from NJ to CA and had to transport our minivan to CA. Of the three companies, I contacted, Ship a Car Direct was the most reasonable. They find their customers carriers from the select group they have had good experiences with. I think with a company doing the work of finding you a good carrier, you have less chance of something going wrong. It would seem that using a company like Ship A Car Direct would be more costly, but that was not the case. In fact they were several hundred dollars cheaper than the other two companies I spoke with.

Gaby, a representative of Ship a Car Direct, was very positive and professional and followed through with us throughout the whole process to make sure that all was going smoothly and well. In addition to Gaby following through, Ship a Car Direct's customer service team also sent emails to keep you on track for getting your car ready and payment for your driver.

I was also very pleased with the choice of carrier, Ace Auto Trans. The driver who came to load my car took great time and care with his documentation before loading it. EK, the dispatcher for the company, was very sweet and tried to accommodate our needs for picking up the car at the latest date and time possible. She even put us in touch with the driver to work out what option would be best for us and to see what he could do to arrange his schedule to meet ours.

The driver, who dropped the car off, Arthur, was also very personable and very professional. Our car arrived a few days before it was expected and helped save us additional car rental fees.

Ship a Car Direct also has some great informational videos on its site. The professional look of its website and the CEO's effort to make everything as clear and easy through his videos prompted me to first call them.

If I ever have to ship my car again, I would certainly call Ship a Car Direct to find a good carrier at the best price. And I would also use Ace Auto Trans if they were available to do it.
