What I liked about Ship A Car Direct was the transparency of their website and their frankness about the process. Angela was consistently helpful and pro-active with follow up. Thanks, Angela! No fee was paid until a carrier was identified. This should be the way it works with ALL brokers.

In a perfect world, however, a consumer would have a chance to review any suggested carrier before the process starts. Instead we place our trust in the broker to work with carriers that are reliable and honest. That trust was upheld with our carrier, CDA Transportation Corporation, so we are grateful. In fact, their MC# didn't show much on the FMCSA website, so we are again glad it all worked out so well. The truck was big enough that the driver could not get it next to either the pick up nor drop off locations, but he communicated effectively to meet at each end a few blocks away. The overall result was excellent: we got the car from point A to point B without visible damage and without any hidden costs or financial shenanigans. In a really perfect world the consumer would have direct access to the dispatch auction site and could see the prices being bid by carriers and could take advantage of those savings.

Thanks, too, to transportreviews.com who I found later in my process. They have a lot of good information here and allowed me to find a broker who was a good fit for us.
