Ship a Car Direct kept me informed and updated about the whole process of sending my car from the Chicagoland area to Texas. They went as far as to send video recordings on what I should do to avoid any hassles in case my car gets damaged.

The truck driver who picked up my car was very knowledgeable and professional. He was extremely helpful in finding a place where the car could be picked up and waited cheerfully for me to arrive at the pre-arranged spot. I felt totally comfortable handing my car to him to drive to Texas. Further more, he was punctual to the dot. When he arrived a day earlier than expected, he was polite enough to call to give us the option of the car being delivered that evening or waiting till the tentatively scheduled next day to deliver it. The company that handled the transportation did their part as well. Someone from the company made it a point to relay updates on the pick up and that helped to allay any anxiety I had about this whole process.
