After hearing a lot of horror stories about shipping a car across states, I did a lot of research (mainly through transportreviews.com) before deciding to go with Ship-a-Car Direct. The level of service and response was great. Tom kept in frequent contact with me and helped guide me through the process with helpful emails and videos. He was always available for my questions. Having shipped cars a couple of times in the past (in the 1990s), I thought the price of $725 was fine.

The company they used for the transport, Stroh's in Auburn, Washington, was also excellent. Rick was the driver, and he got the car down to me in Palm Springs (1100 miles) in just a couple of days, with no damage or any problems. It didn't hurt that both Tom and Rick were personable and friendly through the process. I would definitely recommend Ship-a-Car Direct for anybody contemplating transporting their car, and would also recommend Rick at Stroh's for professionalism and a speedy delivery. Kudos to these guys for making the move from Portland to Palm Springs a little easier.
