Met my expectation

This is my first time shipping a car across the country. I've read so many reviews online during my search for a shipping company. A lot of horrible things happened to those reviewers. It seemed to me that I wouldl never be able to find a reliable shipping company. I almost decided to drive the car myself after reading the bad reviews, however, I can't take that much time off work and so I kind of just had to have it shipped. I chose ship a car direct was simply because they were the last one whom I requested for a quote from, and the price seemed fair. I am glad that nothing horrible happened to me. The car is in the same condition as it was before the shipping, interior is intact, and stuff weren't stolen.
It was late for 1 day for pickup, and late for 3 days for delivery. I guess it was mostly because the dispatcher was being too ambitious about the schedule that is a bit impossible to meet. Here is some detail for my shipment.

Date scheduled for pickup: 10/08/2015
Date actually picked up: 10/09/2015

Delivery went smoothly. The driver unloaded the car before we met for delivery, and it saved me time. He was patient when I was checking the condition of the car before paying for it. Dispatcher was good with communication and nothing unexpected happened. Only thing I would recommend is to have a better estimate for delivery. To me, 9 days is acceptable for WA to IL. However, it was scheduled to be 6 days. Being late is being late, most customers do not care whether 9 days is reasonable or not. Late delivery might not be okay with most people if they do not have much flexibility with time.

Thank you for your thorough review, Josie! You are right about timing estimates. Because every route is unique with individual customer addresses, drive times are not exact. Carriers provide estimates rather than exact dates, so it's realistic to have a little wiggle room in your schedule for carrier arrival. Sorry your carrier's estimate was a little off!
