Tom Was Fantastic; Would Use Again Ship A Car Direct

I had a very good experience working with Tom and using Ship A Car Direct from mid-October to mid-November 2015. Here is a record of my experience and why I would use them again:

- My car: 2015 Lexus GS 350
- Pick-up city: Evanston, IL
- Drop-off city: Irvine, CA

I started the whole process wanting enclosed shipping, despite knowing that enclosed shipping offers can be few and far between. My first available pick-up date under enclosed shipping was Wednesday, November 4th. When there was still no offer to pick-up on Friday the 6th, Tom did not urge me to increase the offer price but rather described a couple of alternative scenarios. He and I talked on Saturday the 7th and decided to change the mode of transport from enclosed to open. In the morning of Monday the 9th, a carrier committed but it turned out that the driver would not be able to pick up until after my scheduled flight to LAX. In the afternoon on the same day, Tom found me another carrier. And, the rest was history.

What I appreciate Tom the most were his responsiveness, his helpfulness, and his being prudent with my money.

Car was picked up on Wednesday the 11th and arrived at the destination city on Monday the 16th. The inspection process at both ends was relatively quick and straightforward. The destination driver called me a couple of times to keep me updated on his ETA, which was helpful. Other than slight dust from the open shipping, no damage whatsoever.
