Ship a Car Direct

I tried to ship my car from Atlanta to Nashville Tennessee. Initially I started with Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). The RAP tried to up-sale me. When I chose the basic option, after two weeks I still did not get a pick-up date. When I called in, they told me that the pick-up date is not guaranteed for that option. It could be “months” before they find a route. So, I called Ship a Car Direct in desperation. I have already been in TN for two weeks.
Angela was super helpful. She explain the relationship between Ship a Car Direct and the shippers. She even advised me to go to a local shipper which would be cheaper. She also explained the process ad timing. It was in a weekend. But we got a pick-up date by Monday. And two-days late the car was shipped.
