After getting no recommendations from our car dealer, a wholesaler, and even CarMax, I used the internet to research auto transport companies. ShipACarDirect was the smoothest process to get an estimate. My agent, Angela, was very helpful and between her descriptions and the information emails/videos that she provided, I felt very confident in my first time effort at shipping a car. Angela's predictions for when we would hear from the eventual transporter to all the steps associated with the pickup and ultimate delivery went exactly as she had explained. The pick up driver, Amir, was timely in calling to set up the pickup date and similarly timely in arriving for the pickup. We reviewed the car together and he was very courteous. Amir indicated that there were several more pickups in the DC area to complete so his ETA to LA was on the longer side of the 7-10 day predicted range. Luckily for us (and a tribute to the drivers), they beat their schedule by 2 days. We received a call on the 6th day for a delivery on the 7th day. The delivery driver, Ricardo, was similarly courteous and the delivery occurred with no issues. We were very satisfied with the accuracy of the planning and the flawless execution of everything from simple phone call updates and coordination, to the ultimate delivery and would certainly use ShipACarDirect again.
