Since this was my first time shipping my car, I was very apprehensive about the process when I started. It seems this industry is full of scams and at first it's hard to know who to trust. Ship a Car Direct's website really helped me manage expectations and was very straight forward as to what to expect from other vendors, brokers and carriers. This educated me enough to feel confident I was not being taken for a ride. In the end, I did get other "lower" quotes from other vendors, but just like explained on their website, hidden fees and other costs were not disclosed upfront. Even though I am sure other companies would have shipped for cheaper, had I taken the time weed them out, I am glad I stuck with SCD since everything went as planned and expected. Sometimes its better to pay a little more for the expected result than save a couple of bucks for the unexpected.
