Shipping a BMW i3 from Portland to Ithaca

The service was flawless.

After signing on with Ship A Car we got a call the next day from the trucking company they had contracted for our job.
I felt like the freight company contact was not very comforting, but when I called the website, Stefan talked me though it,
advised that this particular company was one they use frequently and had not had bad results from.

Once the car was on the way it was nerve-wracking to see when it would be delivered, and that it would not be damaged in any way.
We had planned delivery on a Saturday so my son would have plenty of time to get out of classes and take delivery. Half
way through the week we got a call to say the driver was a day out of Ithaca, and it would be delivered on a Wednesday.
This could have been a huge problem. Luckily he delivered at 8 am in the morning and the hand-off went smoothly.
My son said the driver was a nice guy who just wanted to get on to his next drop-off and was clearly on a tight time-line.

The car was intact, with no damage at all. It is a new car with a very light titanium body, so could have been easily dented.

The only possible problem would have been if we had not couriered the cashiers check to my son on an urgent time-line.
If we had known delivery would be so early, we would have sent the check earlier. This could have been a major problem
so our advice is to send the cashiers check to the recipient before you start the trip!

All in all a very positive experience and service from Ship A Car Direct.
