I’m writing to say how very happy I am with the service provided by Ship a Car Direct and to thank them for getting my car from Olympia, Washington to Silver Spring, Maryland so professionally.
I found Ship a Car Direct in April 2016 after searching online. I’d considered two other organizations but was bothered by the negative reviews I read. Ship a Car Direct’s reviews were positive and they had a good BBB rating as well. That made them seem a good choice and I contacted them. My original contact was Angela, who stayed with me through the whole process and was very proactive regarding the service especially since I wasn’t moving until late June, several months down the line.
Angela explained how the process worked and sent me e-mails and videos to help better prepare the car (and me) for the whole shipping procedure. When time got close to the move, she kept in closer contact so that everything would go smoothly.
There was a small glitch in the first pickup date. It would have been within the three-day window but I misunderstood the information provided by one of Angela’s colleagues and didn’t have the car ready for pickup. Rather than blaming me for the misunderstanding, Angela worked even harder to make another pickup date work (working over the 4th of July weekend and going above and beyond to make the pickup work as soon as possible).
Once the car was picked up in Olympia, Angela kept me informed about when to expect my car. The delivery driver, Dean from Volk Transport, was also great. He called a day ahead of the expected delivery and also the day of delivery to keep me aware of what to expect and when. The car was delivered yesterday evening and was absolutely none the worse for wear.
I can’t say how much I appreciate Angela and Dean’s professionalism and would certainly recommend Ship a Car Direct to any and all.
