I had a pretty good experience with Ship a Car Direct. My biggest complaint was that when I initially requested a quote, I didn't get one, but did start receiving other promotional emails telling me why Ship a Car would be the best option for me. I checked my spam folder - no quote. However, once I called and left a message with David (whose direct phone number was provided in the promo emails I was getting), he got back to me very quickly and sent the quote along. He also didn't pressure me to make a decision right then and there, which I appreciated. After that, getting it set up was pretty easy and smooth. The car was picked up very promptly, and dropped off within the projected time frame. Communication with the actual transport company was generally fine, though it would have been very helpful if Ship a Car Direct could have provided some suggested pick up/drop off locations near the two end points, because the carrier could not come directly to either the start or finish location, and I had to find an acceptable place on the fly in an area that I'm not very familiar with. However, the transport guy was communicative and answered his phone when I called him, so other than some anxiety around where exactly to actually meet, everything was fine. My car arrived with no damage, and wasn't dirty inside, so I would consider it a success.
