Good Experience

There are a lot of horror stories out there, but my experience was far from horrible. My car got to me in one piece at the time I needed it- so that's what counts most. In regards to the small details of my experience:

The best customer service came from the carrier drivers (United Auto Carrier)- Max and David. They were great- always keeping in contact with me via phone call or text. Super courteous and kind. Customer service from Ship A Car Dirext representative was just okay. I felt like my representative was rushed on my first (and only) phone conversation. It felt like he wanted to get off of the phone with me ASAP, instead of patiently listening to my questions and answering them (however stupid or basic the questions seemed). I ended up just completely shutting down because of the tone of his voice, ending my call without having all information I wanted, and just emailing my questions (Also, I did not receive a direct response to one of my questions, so I had to email again in regards to my question.).

In the end, I paid more money to the carrier than the broker, so I guess I can't expect crazy-amazing customer service from the broker. I still think that for a payment of under $400 though, the broker could have done a little more work- like communicate with the driver on my behalf and provide stellar customer service. They basically book the carrier and then call it a day. Yes, they're there to follow up after the fact just in case sh*t hits the fan or so they can get a positive review, but I was the one who had to go back and forth with the carrier over an eight day period of time in regards to what day/time they were going to arrive for pickup, and what day/time for drop off. Ship a car direct could perform this communication as a part of their services, and simply/directly let me know of changes from the carrier with an email, text, or using and app. Just some of my true feelings about this $1300 transaction.

Once again, I'm very thankful to the carrier for getting my car here safe, and for SACD for their help (however minimal of help I feel it may have been for the amount I paid to them).
