This was my first time having a car shipped and Ship a Car Direct made it the best possible experience.The company has some very worthwhile short videos on their website explaining different aspects of the shipping process, like preparing the car to be shipped and different transport types. I highly recommend viewing them. Matt was friendly and helpful on the phone when I called asking about shipping my car, answered my questions thoughtfully and gave me a quote. After I got the quote, I requested pickup for 3 days later. The car was being picked up in South Carolina and I live in California so I had a friend at the SC end meet the driver. My friend told me that everything went smoothly at his end. I had expected 7 to 10 days for the ship but the car actually arrived in 5 days - super quick for across the country! The driver and Matt tried hard to reach me the night before and day of delivery leaving me voice messages and sending me email but I was unavailable at that time - this was my fault and I appreciated their efforts. The driver went out of his way to call around and found one of their shipping partners close to my home who was willing to hold my car on their lot (for free) until I could come get it. I very much appreciated that since some places charge $150/day to store a vehicle!! I picked up the car a little later on the same day of delivery. The car was almost brand new and there wasn't a scratch on it that I could find even though it had come on an open transport all the way across the country. Very impressive. I really appreciated their nice friendly quick service, attention to detail, and flexibility. I will certainly call them again if I ever need to ship a car.
