Excellent customer service, great execution

I had a Tesla Model S shipped from a car dealership in Colorado to my home in VA. After a couple hours of reviewing options on-line, I decided on shipacardirect.com. This was mainly because I ran across a very well-written (and witty) review of the CEO of the company responding to an outrageously negative review I read about them. (The review in question was fairly obviously planted by a competitor.) I received a quote immediately after requesting one through their web site.

Angela (who locates the drivers) contacted me directly and walked me through the entire process in detail, explaining how their commission works and what the driver receives. She stayed in touch with me as they were locating a driver, as well as throughout the entire shipment. Angela located a transport within one day of my contacting them, and the driver was ready to pick up the car on the day I originally requested. However, because the car dealership didn't get their paperwork ready, the car was actually delayed for a day. (This delay had absolutely nothing to do with shipacardirect.) We contacted shipacardirect and informed them of the unexpected delay by the dealership, and shipacardirect adjusted their schedule to accommodate it. (The driver actually waited for a day until the car dealership got everything sorted out and then loaded up the car the moment it became available.)

During the shipment, the driver, Ronald Mitchel, contacted us the day the car was picked up and gave us an estimated day of arrival and let us know that he would be contacting us again when he got closer. Within a couple of days he contacted us again and informed us, to our delight, that he would be arriving a day earlier than expected. He gave us an estimated time of arrival, and told us that he'd contact us an hour before arrival.

The day of the arrival, he contacted us as promised and was there right on time. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable not only about car transport, but actually about the car itself. He was extremely careful when unloading the car. Despite the rain on delivery, it was apparent that the car was clean and has been well taken care of during the transport. The entire experience could not have gone better or smoother, and I will be recommending shipacardirect.com to others who have a need for auto transport.
