As scary as it is, this business is apparently very fluid. Nothing is set in stone till your car gets put on that truck. But it'll all work out - just take a breath and trust these people, they know what they're doing.
Also - the vehicle was a bit dirty but that's to be expected from an open air trip going 2k miles.
