I was glad I read online to really look over the reviews of the car transport companies as so many were not good. I found Ship a Car Direct. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive BUT they had a lot of really good reviews.The customer service contact I had initially and throughout the process with Matt was exceptional. He always kept in touch with me and kept me up to speed on the status. He was very helpful and gave me great confidence. The reason I'm providing a 4 and not a 5 is because the actual shipper had some issues. They were one day early with only a 2 hour notice so I had to scramble to redo my rental car reservation and at the hotel at the receiver end. The driver hardly understood English although he tried to make it look as if he did. I had probably about 10-12 minor surface scratches on the sides of my car doors and he drew it as if it had hundreds all over the entire car. The car did arrive a day early, no problem but the car was not locked although the driver said he understood how to lock it when I demonstrated it to him. My car arrived very dirty (no really a problem since it was open) but it had some deep scratches on both mirrors that I noticed as they were bent in and another deep scratch with a dent in the side door. I was smart to take a video and pics of the car before it shipped to prove they were not there before. Now, waiting to get a settlement from the shipper but doesn't sound like that will happen. Other than that, I would highly recommend using Ship A Car Direct.
