John, the customer service rep at Ship-A-Car Direct was great. Patient, honest, and comforting throughout the whole process. I felt really confident using their services, and I haven't felt that way about every shipping broker I have used.
I was really happy to find out my car was transported in an enclosed carrier. I wish they could have relayed that message to me in transit. Also, the driver took detailed pictures of my car at pick-up and I was able to see them all online in the BOL - very cool!

I did feel like the pricing was a little bit more that expected, even though I know I had a car with a dead battery. The transport driver was able to easily jump the battery at the pickup location to drive it into the carrier and then jump it again to get to my driveway at destination. Ship-A-Car could only negotiate an "inoperable vehicle' rate for me in the end, which was about $250 more than just a normal transport. I left that was steep and they could have done a better job trying to find someone who would be willing just jump the battery for an extra $50-100. However, they did offer to pay down some of the extra cost ($25 of it) to help get my vehicle to me.

Overall, the customer service was excellent and so was the driver. I would use them again because I am confident they will take care of my car, which was the biggest thing for me.
