I was moving from North Carolina to California and needed my car shipped by the end of the month which was my move out date. I booked with Ship a Car Direct a month in advance. Well, the end of the month rolled around, and I still did not have a carrier for my car. My options were to leave my car in North Carolina or drive it to Texas on my way to California where I could leave it with family. Since I did not know when my car would be picked up, I drove it to Texas and changed my pick up location. My car ended up shipping from Texas 4 days after I dropped it off for the same price that it would have cost me to ship it from North Carolina. I drove it half the distance, so I'm not sure why the cost was the same.

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very attentive, but the overall experience caused me too much inconvenience in the end.
