When we looked at the cost of shipping a car vs. driving for 34-1/2 solid hours, it saved us so much time, money(in lost wages from work and extra travel expenses) and energy, shipping it was a no brainer. I compared a lot of companies, since I had no idea how this process worked. A lot of brokers were very fast talking and pushy, leaving me feeling bewildered as to what was going to happen with the car, or how a price was decided upon. I chose Ship a Car Direct because the rep I spoke to was the only broker who took the time to explain to me how this process works, which made me feel at ease. Even though we had a little issue with finding a carrier who was willing to come to Savannah to pick up, which was a little out of the way, and this caused a slight delay in pick up of the car, Eric made it all work without our cost going up by negotiating through our deposit. The car arrived on time, in fine condition, a little dirty, but it did have a long journey, and we were satisfied with the service. Its stressful to ship such a valuable thing as a car, and finding someone you feel you can trust who is willing to communicate with you is so important.
