I recently used Ship-A-Car-Direct for assisting with transporting a car from CA to OH, and they handled the transaction smoothly. This was my second time using their service, as the first time went well.

Ship-A-Car-Direct posted the job and a company called, I and K Transport accepted the job. They showed up on time, but they were not honest as to the amount of time it would take for delivery. Ship-A-Car quoted 5-6 days for delivery, which is what my first transport time frame was as well. The issue I had with I and K was that without them accurately giving me a window of time for deliver, I could not plan to make myself available to receive the car.

I transported the car from CA to OH and I needed to coordinate travel around their delivery. The estimate was 5-6 days, but it took less. Normally, this would be great, however, I was not going to be present for delivery, based on their date provided. I asked if they could somehow deliver the car the next day, so that it would not cause a delivery issue, but they would not work with me at all. They were rude at times (on the phone) and would not even accommodate a closer drop-off than the original delivery without charging me.

Again, I appreciate the speed in which they delivered the car, but it caused issues with being available. I would recommend using Ship-A-Car-Direct for brokering your auto transport needs, but hope that you remain flexible with your availability on delivery, as each transport company seems to operate on their own schedule and rules.
