The experience was overall pleasant. I received a quote about 2 wks prior to the date and was told that the long lead time is not needed. I then waited a week and then placed an order ~ 1 wk before the departure date. I was told to choose a window of three days for a pick-up. I picked Fri, Mon and Tues, since I was flying out Tues evening. I waited until Wed, and called Scott (my representative) on Wed, who then set up a driver right away. This part could have been handled a little better (i.e. not to wait for me to call to set up a driver or at least let me know when I will be assigned a driver). The transport company (Bel Star) called me and gave me contact information for the driver. I waited until Sunday and called the driver, who said he can come out Mon evening or Tues morning. The pick-up was Tues morning. The vehicle was delivered Sat evening, which makes it 4.5 days for the delivery, which was a pretty good time. The driver was courteous and pleasant to talk to. I checked the BBB before hiring Ship a Car direct and I think their service is consistent with the A rating they received.
