Welcome to the murky world of car shipping. I tried uShip, Nationwide Auto and Nationwide Logistics. Almost all shippers use a common posting board. The latter two brokers priced the car so low no shippers picked up the order. So a low price quote from a broker is basically useless. Then I read Ship a Car Direct's website where they set out how the posting system works. If you want your vehicle picked up sooner rather than later then post a higher price. When I called Ship a Car Direct they told me how many cars were on the board for a west coast trip and what the high and low prices were. Then we priced my car properly so that the order was picked up within a few days. It cost $200 more than the Nationwides' quotes but they were useless low prices. Ship a Car Direct could have received five stars if they improved their communication by ensuring that the customer always knows what is going on but I suspect they are busy and the vehicles are not theirs.
