When I had my vintage Buick Grand National shipped, I was thinking about having it shipped in a covered truck but the extra cost turned me off. My first choice in brokers was a poor one because, while 25% cheaper, they did not find a truck in 17 days. I fired them at 4PM Friday and just after dinner, Honesty Auto had a truck for me at the agree upon commission price of $150. with $650 payable to the shipper COD.
I was amazed when the truck pulled up. It was in a covered trailer. Honesty did not try to jack me around and tell me how if I wanted, they could get me a covered truck today but I had to pay extra. No. Just, "Ken we got you a truck to pick it up tomorrow".
