Shipping East Coast to West Coast

The process was fairly straight forward. On the east coast I did have to drive my car to meet the trailer (in a shopping mall parking lot about 4 miles from where I was staying) which would take my car west. However, the driver did arrange and pay for an Uber to get me back to where I was staying. The day before I flew to the west coast I heard from the driver that the car would be delivered a day or two early. That sounds like a plus, but it threw things off schedule as I was flying from the east coast to the west coast on the new delivery date. I had to land on the west coast and hustle to a bank to get a cashiers/bank check to pay COD for the car (a bit stressful). Then the driver brought my car into my new west coast city, and proceeded to unload it in the middle (literally the middle/turn lane) of the busy city street a block from my new west coast home. I felt unsafe running into the middle of the street to accept my car as it was being unloaded in that middle lane; it happened quickly and I did not have time to check the car over or take photos. So while the car arrived safely and intact (I had to pull the car over a block or so from where it was dropped off and check it over - long after the trailer was gone), the process was pretty stressful.
