Clarification with pick up company and Ship car Direct Middle Man

Ship a Car Direct has all the expected "up to date" ways of communication via email and an IOS app, however I experienced a miscommunication of the driver refusing to take my car upon pickup because of excess of 100 lbs in the car. They stated I could pay an extra 100 dollars with cash to get it through, which just seemed like an underhand way of asking for extra money. These logistics need to be stated more clearly by the shipping company and Matt stated this was an uncommon problem that "most people" knew about. I apologized that I made the mistake, but it was very poor customer service both from the driver and from Ship a Car Direct when I was blamed for it.
