Unfortunately, lead time does not help get a carrier secured sooner because carriers will wait until their trucks are actually in the area and will pick up cars that are available to be picked up right then and there. If carriers commit too early they may encounter delays on their way across states and not fulfill the order. Also, the quote is just an estimate of what the final price may be to get your car moved.
