I’m happy to leave a glowing review for Ship-A-Car-Direct. Believe me, if I wasn’t, I’d scream bloody murder. And it’s my plan to do so with a company that changed my quote to 50% more when the destination changed 10 miles west of what I’d entered online. Give me a break. If you’ve never shipped a car across country (I hadn’t) it feels like there are a lot of moving parts. And it can seem overwhelming to let go of one of your most valuable assets to people you don’t know and have it wind up back with you in perfect working order thousands of miles away. It happens that way with this company. Let me tell you. First off, I contacted TEN companies when I began the journey of shipping my car across country from California to Illinois. I read all the reviews available of each. Then, I began contacting them. The quotes came in via email/text in a wild range. Ship-A-Car-Direct was the only one that got back to me immediately with a quote ... which they clearly explained ... which they stuck to from beginning to end. They ran the workflow perfectly. I always could get “Eve,” their extremely capable go-between, with a text or a phone call. After being completely candid about how they charge and what the breakdown was, she handed me over to the actual shipper who had their own dispatcher and driver. I met my driver one morning and he drove the car on to the rig with the others and they were off to Illinois. I was given a time frame for arrival and the biggest surprise of all – my car arrived two days early! The day after my plane landed in Illinois, my car keys were in my hand and I was free to take my chances on the I-290. But see, that’s just the thing, even with that, there were no surprises, because they kept in touch with me from beginning to end. Thank you Ship-A-Car-Direct.
