After looking on the internet to find the best car shipping company, I stumbled across Ship A Car Direct and saw there were a number of favorable reviews. I went ahead and gave them a shot, and the process was relatively seamless! I talked with a representative and they helped set me up right away. My car was picked up the next day and was delivered a few days earlier than expected, so that was great. A few inconveniences along the way include - - delay in picking up the car. We agreed on a certain time, and we had to wait about an hour for the truck to come. The delay is fine, but there was little communication that was sent to us about this. - Picking up car on the west coast - I told the driver that he can't drop my car off at my apartment, as there isn't enough space, but he insisted that it'll be okay. Upon getting there, he calls me and tells me he can't unload at my apartment due to space and tells me to meet at another location. I leave work early to meet him, but on my way there, I receive a call from I'm assuming his supervisor, asking me where I am and that his driver is waiting. This shouldn't be my problem, we aren't meeting at the agreed upon location. Aside from the communication issues, there were no other issues. Car arrived quickly and with no damages (other than obvious dirtiness from shipment, which is expected). The driver was thorough in checking my car for any damages and was friendly. Ship A Car Direct doesn't directly ship your car, but instead contacts a few delivery companies and outsources the delivery aspect to someone else. For my specific experience, my car made it so no major complaints.
