I purchased a new vehicle from an out-of-state dealer and wanted it transported to my home. I contacted Ship-a-Car-Direct for an initial quote and found it to be very reasonable. I was contacted by a representative within a minute of submitting my request. The representative took the time to answer all of my questions without any pressure. The representative followed up with an email containing his direct contact information. The scheduling process is completed on-line and was very simple and straight-forward. The initial representative stays with you the entire way through the process; no talking to several different people. The assigned representative communicates via email and phone throughout the whole process to keep you up-to-date on any relevant information. I also received automated emails from the company containing valuable information; Ship-a-Car-Direct does a great job of communicating. My auto was picked up and delivered according to the initial estimates, and right to my front door. The initial deposit payment is by credit card, but upon delivery of the vehicle the balance is paid to the driver in cash or cashier's check only, which Ship-a-Car-Direct explained up-front. Also note, that Ship-a-Car-Direct is more of a broker than an actual transporter, but they only use transporters that meet their standards. I definitely would use Ship-a-Car-Direct again.
