The thing that convinced me to use Ship A Car Direct was that I didn’t have to pick up the phone to get amazing service! They have a video series that answers every single question you may have about transporting a car before even asking for a quote. I submitted the quote and got an email response acknowledging my quote with guidance on next steps (which I kind of already knew from the videos). I requested services about a month before I needed the car shipped which apparently is very early to get a quote because the car moving trucking companies book a week and advance or so. Ship A Car Direct kept checked in with me on a weekly basis and kept me updated every step of the way.
Something to keep in mind if this is your first time shipping your car is that companies like Ship A Car Direct are the intermediary who help you hire a shipping company, this is how the industry works. Also know that you pay the shipping company directly for their service and communicate directly with them for pick up details (I lived in a university town so I have to meet the truck at the back of a supermarket because they wouldn’t have been able to maneuver the truck and load my car on most of the narrow streets in my city). Cash is indeed the way you pay (it was weird to pay hundreds of dollars in cash to a shipping company, but there were no problems at all!) You pay Ship A Car Direct their broker fee online (which is a plus!) Ship A Car Direct has a very convenient app for you to track the condition of your car before and after shipment, I highly recommend its use.
Overall I’m happy with Ship A Car Direct service and appreciate how easy the whole process was without me having to pick up the phone!
