I found out about Ship a Car Direct through an extensive Reddit thread, but was still skeptical myself until I went through with it! They initially told me it would take 3-4 days to have a carrier assigned and 5-7 days for shipping, but my carrier was assigned the same day I placed the order, and my car delivered less than 2 days later. Almost unbelievable service, and the process was fast and easy. I've only shipped a car one other time, but this experience was much better.
