My truck arrived in perfect condition with no damage, which is the most important thing, but communication throughout the process needs improvement. No carrier would accept the original quoted price. After a couple days and a phone call to Ship a Car, a carrier finally accepted, but at a higher price. Was originally quoted $1000 by Ship a Car Direct, but final price ended up being $1350. Once a carrier was confirmed, never heard from Ship a Car again. No follow up. nothing. Carrier (PM auto transport) also did not communicate well. Had to reach out to them for updates. Never even received a confirmation that vehicle was picked up, just had to assume everything went ok. Driver was also a day late (not his fault. driver was victim of a hit and run). Was understanding to the situation and it wasn't a big deal to be late a day, but again, i had to reach out to get these updates. Overall, I'm pleased because my vehicle arrived undamaged, but communication throughout process needs improvement.
