Good but took longer than expected and cost more

I shipped my car from Palo Alto to New Orleans in April 2021. I had great communication from the ship-a-car direct people and their quote was lower than others I tried. Unfortunately, there was no carrier who was able to pick my car up during the 5 day window. The person who helped me (scott) said this had to do with so many people leaving the bay area and that there was a back up. We moved out of state and the car was stuck in CA so we gave our keys to a friend to deal with dropping the car off. When a carrier did accept our request a few days after our pick up window, it cost about $150-$200 more than we expected but we were desperate. The pick up and drop off was very easy and the car arrived without any damage.
