I used Ship a Car Direct to ship my car from Massachusetts to Arizona. Scott was really helpful in answering questions and I got the best quote from this company. Although my final total was about 100$ more than my original quote, I was just happy it made it safely. I was slightly stressed out when I still did not have a carrier to pick up my car at the start of my pickup week but it all moves very quickly so I was told this was pretty normal. It did end up moving very quickly within a day of getting a carrier my car was picked up and on its way. The only issue I had was the truck driver was not the most friendly customer service guy but I guess that makes sense since he doesn’t technically work in customer service. I was informed through Ship a Car Direct that payment would be upon delivery with either cash or cashiers check. I was just thought I would do it through cashiers check that I was not carrier around large amounts of cash until pickup. When I asked what name to put on the cashiers check, the reply was slightly aggressive in saying that they only took cash. I apologized and explained that the information I was given said it could be either and in response I got “Well I am telling you…” this made me slightly uncomfortable but I was less worried about the form of payment than I was about my car arriving in Arizona safely. My car left on a Tuesday and arrived the following Sunday so it was extremely fast shipping. I would highly recommend this company just maybe a tip for Ship a Car Direct is to know which carriers only accept cash so that this issue does not happen again. Also the damage reporting app they provided was extremely helpful and made me feel protected if something did happen (which it didn’t).
