I did a lot of research before selecting a company to transport our car to Arizona. The videos on the Ship a Car website are very helpful for first timers like me. I ultimately selected Ship a Car because I felt comfortable with the representative I had spoken with and because their prices were a couple hundred dollars less than their competitors. We gave them about two weeks' notice before wanting the car shipped. It sounded as though they would be very proactive in trying to find a driver to make the trip. Instead, I was the one being proactive with them. I checked in periodically and they were prompt in responding but not the experience I was expecting. We ended up spending a couple hundred more than the original quote so didn't save the money we expected. The carrier's process was not exactly as described to us but that wasn't Ship a Car's fault. They picked it up, loaded it onto a small carrier and drove it to a central location two states away where it sat for a couple of days and then loaded it onto a carrier and drove it to Arizona. We understood that it would be driven directly from our location to Arizona. We had one small issue with the carrier which Ship a Car addressed quickly. The car arrived pretty dirty but otherwise in good shape which is what matters most. Ship a Car's communication after it was delivered was very good.
