A colleague recommended "Ship A Car Direct" for transporting the car as they used the service twice and had only good things to say about their experience. When I called them and spoke to Mike, I liked the fact that they did not push me to make a decision on the spot to lock in low price. Mike took the time to explain how the process works and sent a quote. Though it was a little more than the competitors, I felt assured that the car will be handled carefully and delivered safely. 2 days after the car was picked up I called the trucking company and was told that it is 500 miles in the opposite direction loading other cars and the next day it was still within 100 miles of the pickup point. I assumed the delivery will be delayed and rented the car at the destination even though they told me that the car will be delivered within a day of the promised date. I was pleasantly surprised that the car was delivered on the original promised date without any issues. The driver was very responsive providing updates whenever we called/texted. Will definitely recommend Ship a Car Direct to others looking for a car transport service.
