After checking online and educating myself on shipping brokers, I received a TON of emails of quotes to move my car from PA to NC. Looking at the reviews, the feedback varied and was all over the place. I looked at 4-5 quotes, checked the feedback on this site and BBB ratings to assist and went with the one of the higher bids. The main purpose of the broker is to bid a reasonable price in a decent timeframe that a trucking company will be interested in moving your vehicle..period. You should not take the lowest bid because many of these companies will overpromise and under deliver. David at Honesty First (funny name) was helpful, reasonable and upfront with decent expectations as to what price would get trucking company interest. He was responsive and offered good communication via phone and email. I think the key to moving a car is patience and give yourself some extra time in getting your car delivered. To make it easier for the trucking company to deliver, I was willing to drive an extra hour to meet the trucker. No big deal. The trucking company however was about 1 1/2 hours late and even though he claimed he had a GPS, did not have clue where he was going - which was kind of aggravating and we just told him to pull over and we would find him. He was nice and the delivery went fine. Good experience overall with no real issues or hassle. I would use David and Honesty First again - no problems and I paid about $50.00 more to move the car faster but that was really ok.
