A few things I must inform future car movers of:

1. If you ask Silva about these reviews, they will tell you not to believe everything you read. BELIVE THIS! Feel free to email me to discuss as well

2. They are VERY VERY RUDE. I was hung up on and treated very poorly. They really have terrible customer service, I think they must employ rebellious teenagers who have not learned how to speak with adults.

3. They let my car sit for a month and did not call me once to let me know the status

After doing a bit more resarch, I found out that my car had been put on the big "broker board" for 725 dollars. OF COURSE no one is going to move a car from NJ to CA for crap money like that, I wouldn't either. BUT Silva never explained this. Had they explained it I would have been glad to put up more cash to get my car here by the end of August.

So no Silva did not lie to me, yes they are going to refund my deposit and no they did not break any laws. By I just don't get why they would post my car for such a low price knowing that no one would take it. A few hundred dollars more and I would have had it in a more timely manner..There were 95 cars waiting to be picked up in Jersy, mine was probably listed at the lowest price of all..

This is what I think: They purposely posted at a low price with the hopes that either they would get lucky, or even if they didn't I would loose patience , cancel and let them keep the depsit. I spoke with 10 other companies that confirmed that this is a typical practice done by unscrupulous companies.

So now what. Well I will be cancelling tomorrow and I have already found another company who can give me a gurantee that it will be picked up in a few days.

Since Silva likes to tell people not to belive these reviews, I would WELCOME the chance to read their response.

Oh and when I questioned the 10 dollar fee they keep for administrative purposes (and yes they do have the right to keep it) The woman on the other end said "IF YOU ARE GOING TO CRY ABOUT IT WE WILL GIVE YOU BACK THE 10 DOLLARS".

Well, how nice of them to offer, I will be glad to take the 10 dollars back. Thanks Silva

Oh and when I wrote them a letter explaining how I felt, they did not even bother to get back to me.

I put in my report to BBB of California as well just for the heck of it.
