IGNORANT, RUDE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

ONCE I SENT IN MY QUOTE AND AFTER SENDING IN MY APPLICATION, I WAS NEVER TREATED WITH ANY RESPECT FROM THAT MOMENT ON. I BOOKED ON THE 17TH OF NOVEMBER FOR THE FIRST AVAILABLE PICK-UP ON THE 19TH OF NOVEMBER. I ASKED THE INDIVIDUAL IF THIS WAS POSSIBLE AND SHE SAID SHE HAD A FEW HOURS LEFT IN THE DAY TO FIND A DRIVER. I HAD MENTIONED TO HER TO TAKE MY CELL NUMBER AS WE WERE HEADING TO TEXAS AND WILL BE THERE ON THE 19TH. PLEASE CALL ME WHEN YOU HAVE A PICK UP TIME. I SINCE HAVE MADE ALL THE PHONE CALLS, NOT ONCE GETTING A CALL FROM THEM. IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 24TH AND I CALLED THEM AROUND 10:00AM AND THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE A DRIVER BOOKED AND THE REASON I AM TOLD, WAS THAT WITH THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY ALL THE DRIVERS WERE BEHIND AND THIS IS PROBABLY THE REASON WE CAN'T FIND A DRIVER. I GET A CALL AT 11:15AM FROM THE INDIVIDUAL WE HAD PURCHASED THE CAR FROM AND THE TRANSPORT COMPANY HAD CALLED HIM TO SAY THAT THEY WILL BE THERE FOR PICK-UP ON THE 25TH. MY SELLER SAYS THAT IT IS A HOLIDAY AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AS HE IS LEAVING TODAY TO VISIT FAMILY. THEY RESPONDED BY SAYING THAT MAYBE THE TRUCK COULD COME BY BETWEEN 8:00 AND 10:00PM ON THE 24TH TO PICK UP. HE THEN SAID I AM LEAVING AND WILL NOT BE HERE. THE RUDE INDIVIDUAL ON THE OTHER END SAYS "YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO YOUR CUSTOMER TO BE THERE" AND THEN SAYS WE WILL BE CHARGING YOUR CUSTOMER A RE-POSTING FEE BECAUSE YOU ARE SO UNCOOPERATIVE. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS COMPANIES REPRESENTATIVES (THAT ALL SEEM TO BE WOMEN) NEED TO TAKE A COURSE IN PUBLIC RELATIONS OR A BREAK FROM DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC. THEY ARE THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL PIECES OF WORK I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS, HASSLES AND TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT. I HAVE OMITTED THE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS IN BETWEEN THE 19TH AND THE 24TH AS THEY WERE FILLED WITH CONTRADICTIONS. I WAS TOLD THE TRANSPORT BUSINESS WAS AN UNPREDICTABLE BUSINESS, BUT I SEE IT ALL CLEAR NOW. AS LONG AS YOU PAY THESE THEIVES THEIR $200.00 BOOKING FEE (AND THEY FEEL YOU ARE AT THEIR MERCY) THEN THEY DON'T GIVE A RATS ASS IF YOUR CAR IS PICKED UP OR NOT, THEN WHEN IT'S A HOLIDAY THEY FIND A DRIVER AND BOOK HIM WITHOUT CONFIRMING THE SELLER WOULD BE PRESENT AT THE AVAILABLE TIME SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU A RE-POSTING FEE. iT'A LL CLEAR TO ME KNOW. TIME TO FIND A NEW COMPANY, WHATEVER THE COST.

Dear Consumers, Tricia’s car was assigned for pickup on Nov. 24, 2004 between 5-8pm. When we informed the pickup agent of said scheduling he said he would not be available that evening so we asked if the next morning around 9am would be better and he became irate and said he did not have time and that he was going out of town. We informed Tricia of this and asked her if she could see if her assigned agent at pickup could leave the vehicle with a neighbor or someone in his absence, and they both refused to do so. Tricia could not understand that the driver did not have time to wait for 5 days until her agent returned as it would delay the other 9 vehicles he had scheduled for pickup. We were never informed when she placed her order that there were any time frames where the vehicle was unavailable for pickup. We asked for some flexibility on times and got nothing in return, the driver was willing to wait until the following day for them, and all we received from Tricia was an earful of why we were working on the holidays. We apologize for working hard even on holidays in order to get your vehicle moved in a timely manor. That is what you pay us for. Silva Auto Transport
